Jumping good time and 2 month old stats

This weekend we went to Hannah's 5th birthday party at a bounce place. Brinley wore herself out jumping and sliding for and hour and half straight!

She also enjoyed playing air hockey with her daddy!

That evening, Keith and Sarah came over to meet Clayton. So we had a nice relaxing evening just visiting, with entertainment provided by Brinley, topped off with some Marble Slab ice cream..YUM!

I took Clayton to the doctor yesterday for his 2 month old checkup. He weighs 10 lb 6 oz and is 23 1/4 inches long. As the doctor put it, "he is tall and skinny!" He had his shots and isn't feeling too good today, running a fever and fussy. It is really the first time since he was born he is continually fussy...yes I thank the lord everyday for such an easy baby!

2 months old

It is hard to believe that Clayton is already two months old! He has really come to life these last few weeks. He is sleeping 7-9 hours a night and staying awake for 2-3 hours at a time. He is a happy little man, always smiling and cooing. Brinley didn't really coo much, so it is nice to hear him talk and "hold" a conversation with you! He tells his dad all about his day when he gets home from work every night! Jason calls it their "man time". As you can tell from the picture, he is holding his head up wonderfully. He really enjoys sitting in his bumbo and looking around! He even tries to keep up by watching his sister as she whirls past him like a tornado! He still screams bloody murder during his bath, but he has gotten used to diaper changes and doesn't cry anymore during those.

We don't go to the doctor until Tuesday for his two month checkup so I will update his height and weight then!

I got a new computer last weekend with an awesome photo/video program! Needless to say, I can now edit my videos down so they can be uploaded onto my blog! Here is one of my favorite videos from the last few months!

This video is of Brinley at my mom and dad's house on Christmas eve. The Wow Wow Wubzy doll was her first present to open. We were all crying from laughing so hard to her reaction. It is a good thing I had my camera rolling! Although it took everything I had to keep it steady from laughing so hard!

Clayton made our hearts melt yesterday with his first smile! We were at my mom's house and she was talking to him and he let out the biggest grin! I got my first smile this morning, so I ran and got my camera and got him to smile again. He has the biggest dimples! What a handsome little man!
