Last week, we took advantage of yet another beautiful fall day and headed all the way out to Hockley, Tx to The Oil Ranch. Thursdays are our day with nothing on the calendar, so I am trying to enjoy the last of these weekly outings before Brinley starts Kindergarten next year and we have to join the masses on weekends!
My mom (or mamaw) joined us for lots of horse rides, animal feeding, and pumpkin picking! We also had Brinley's BFF and her brother (clayton's age) join in on the fun. The weather was perfect and we are exhuasted from a day of fresh air and farm life!
Clayton's favorite part was feeding the geese. They really hurt as they pecked at your hand, but he thought it was funny and kept going back for more food!

Brinley's favorite part was the horse rides. She did it twice and I had to talk her out of more times than that!!!
The crew sat still long enough for a group shot!
We took a hayride out to the cow pasture where they walk right up and expect you to feed them! Some even nibble at your shoe laces when you run out of food!
Clayton also got a big kick out of feeding the cows!
