Jason, Brinley, Melody and myself decided to go to the Kemah Boardwalk for lunch this afternoon (we were actually scouting out a place to have our 10 year high school reunion). Although we only live 10 minutes away from Kemah, it is a place we hardly take advantage of, mostly because of the crowds. Today ended up being perfect because it rained all morning and stopped right as we finished eating. Therefore, we were able to walk around without it being too busy. Brinley loved walking by the water. She laughed at the ducks and catfish as Daddy fed them ($1.00 for 5 pellets of food!!!!)
Overall, it was a pleasant surprise to spend our Saturday afternoon!

It sure looks like you guys had a fun time down in Kemah. Thanks for your note on the blog. Let's just say that it was probably a good thing for everyone (Meredith, the teachers, the other kids, and me) to get her out. Its just frustrating to have thought you figured something out, and then it just goes totally wrong. Live and learn! Let me know about your plans for Mackie's wedding. I am planning on trying to make it -- just gotta figure out logistics. Talk to you later,
