School Egg hunt and Egg dying

Our Easter celebration started on Thursday with an Egg hunt at Brinley's school.  They had to bring 12 filled eggs in a decorated egg carton.  It had rained for the past two days, so thanks to standing water, we had to hide over 1000 eggs on the hardtop by the playground. So, I guess we shouldn't call it an egg hunt, but an egg pick up.

After the hunt, we spread out blankets and had a picnic lunch outside and the kids ran around breaking confetti eggs on each other.  It was a great day!

On Good Friday, the kids were off school and Jason was off work, so we spent the day at home relaxing, baking and dying eggs.
